Does anyone know about side effects of water tablets
Can water tablets cause cramps in the legs and a sense of being foggy when thinking?

I used to take water tablets = diuretics but had to stop because of leg cramps. My doctor discovered that they were making the salt level in my blood drop too low. Got better quickly when I stopped taking them.
Water tablets or diuretics are effective in treating high blood pressure and for most people are pretty free of side effects.
Some people do experience problems however - particularly with changes in either their blood sodium or potassium levels. As Robert found - these issues normally resolve very quickly when the medications are stopped.
